240 Engine blocks - replacement of B23 with B230

Thanks for the help from all, particularly Volvodad.

Went to boneyard Saturday and pulled a good condition B230 out of an '87 to replace my B23 out of my '84. The engine had an exchange sticker on it dated late 2000 so probably didn't have more than about 45K miles on it.

Only external differences are the water pump, timing belt cover, and crank pulley, all of which I got with the replacement engine, so I am ready to go.

Cylinders are good with barely any ridge and cross-hatching still visible. Crank is perfect. So new bearings and seals, then we should be in business for many more miles.
