Should I be worried? 444-544

Hi.

Hot engine then thin oil.

After buy, I change on my 121 (a 122 with 4 doors) the oil from 30W to 20-50W, and add a cheap oil gauge (warning: B18 and B20 engines put 100 lbs of oil pressure at start, due it you need a gauge up to 100 psi, 80 psi gauges would be crack under the pressure. I donīt know on B16 engines).

With a "T" adapter you can install the oil gauge and the idiot light (usually you detect low fluid due the idiot goes on while driving, but make a diagnose seeking the gauge located under the dash after stop on the side of the road). After runnings, 30-40 psi is a good pressure (20-30 acceptable).

Happy Volving,

Joaquin
