An 1800 Buyers Guide? 1800

Hello,

I am seriously contemplating buying an 1800E. I am currently in the research stage trying to learn as much as I can about the car's workings. So far so good, I have found plenty of web pages and am currently trying to weed through all info(much of it contradictory or varying).

What I would like to try and find right now is list of specifics for the B20 series engines that I should be looking for. Signs that if I see them I should avoid that car.

My father is an experienced mechanic and I have shown him shop manuals on the engine (I have the Haynes book on the 120&130 Engines) and he says it was a good engine(having worked on them a bit in the early days of his career).

But for you guys that have spent a lot of time looking at the cars now, are there any problems that I should use as a marker to move on to find another car to look at?

Thanks,

Remo
