weber to su carb conversion questions, how to get my weber to last 2 more weeks 120-130

My weber jets have worn out, 1964 122 b18, the mechanic i used back east said switch to dual su's. does anyone know where to get them in the west, I'm in AZ. He was going to send me everything ready to bolt on; manifold, gaskets, su's, accelerator linkage etc.

At the moment my weber started to just die after idling until it warms up does anyone have a fix to get me through a couple of weeks? Should i just run it even richer. It's an automatic choke and it must just be cutting off too much fuel. It dies all of a sudden.
