Door Swap-142 140-160

I am in the process of replacing banged up doors on my 72 142 with some from a neighbors car (a 240 with 140 latches attached) that had come off of some mystry car. Bottom line is the latch is the same but the hinges are different and there is no stop strap to stop the door. However, with 240 hinges I guess I don't need the strap. Right?

Now, these doors have electric windows. They work ok but where does one put the switch? The mirrors are adjustable but only from the outside. Can I use later 240 mirrors with interior adjustment? Is this a good idea or should I look for some 142 doors? What year car did these doors come from?

Thanks-Mark Richardson Hutchinson, Kansas
