Jack placement under differential '86 245 200 1986

I have a floor jack with a smallish cradle. Where do I place it to safely jack up the rear end? The flat part next to the drain plug? The flange? Once jacked up I will be placing jack stands at the standard jacking points. And a couple under the axle for redundancy and because I have a deathly fear of a car crushing my head. Oh, yeah - I'll be chocking the front wheels as well.
