Low idle when engine is warm 700 1989

When the engine is cold, the idle air control valve opens to allow more air into the engine past the throttle plate. When the engine heats up, the valve closes, cutting this air flow off, so the engine idles only on the throttle body air bypass jet. Let the engine warm up, then adjust the idle air screw on the throttle body to give you the right idle speed.
