Try hot wiring the compressor, i.e., a jumper from the compressor clutch to the battery +. There is an inline connector near the clutch that you can disconnect first. If you hear a click with engine off, the clutch works. Then you can crank the engine and see if the compressor turns when you touch the jumper wire to the battery. Be careful of belts etc----
