Power Window Problem 200

Cleaned em with a penicl Eraser, light scraping with sandpaper when needed - they are shiny shiny silver now. All 4 doors have switches/PWs and all have been cleaned. I get power up and down on the driver's door, power down but no power up on the front passenger front (the one that's currently stuck down -ugh), and no power either up or down on either of the rear doors.

I'll test the wire and rap the motor this weekend, although first I'll have to buy a tester. (I had already taken off the door panel to look for a broken wire or something obvious like that). I was hoping this had happened to someone before (power down, no power up) and that someone would say "Ah ha - it's this one connection which always fails on older volvos!" - but 'dems the breaks.

Thanks for pointing me in a direction to start,

CTvolvo

PS that looks like quite a stable Rob! Mine is an only child, although I have a mostly intact 81 corpse in a nearby garrage. Many die so few may live!
