Dear Decaturhawk,

Good p.m. and may this find you well. I'd suggest that you have the following done:
(a) timing belt
(b) tensioner
(c) front seals
(d) water pump (if it is the original)

The reasons:
(a) a new tensioner will ensure that the new timing belt lasts for its rated life, rather than breaking & stranding you.

(b) unless you know for a fact that previous owner changed the oil every 3K, the seals are likely to be worn (at 10-11 years old, they don't owe you a nickel). Seals are cheap: if they bleed oil into the timing belt case, the oil will soften the timing belt and cause it to fail prematurely. Synthetic oil is a little more likely to get past worn seals, than is dino oil.

(c) if you've had 100K from the water pump, it, too, doesn't owe you much and the additional cost of changing it is the cost of the pump itself. Chances are the pump, if original, will need changing before 150K, when the timing belt will next need to be done.
