What Do We Have Here? 700

So I am having some fun last night and I decide to mess with the wastegate on my 88 760 Garrett Turbo. I put in three turns of the armature and it has made a HUGE difference. While I was down there, I discovered two things that have me perplexed. I hope the pic shows up.

What are these 2 things for? There is a nozzle of some kind that had nothing attached to it and there is also, what appears to be a sensor of some kind that looks like the wire(s) were just cut off?

I know it looks pretty oily down there but I have closed off those leaking areas and she only needs a bath now.....
