Throttle position sensor?? 200

The throttle switch (not sensor) can go bad. Check the switch with a 12v lamp for operation. The switch should go on just above the bottom position.
On your yrar these are a simple on-off switch. The later 240's after '90 used a sensor which had voltage info going to the ECU from a position of the throttle.
You probably need a new one. Not too expensive or difficult to replace.
