vents stuck in one position S90-V90

The vents in my V90 is stuck in one position- air is blowing out to the windshield and to the footwells. AC and heater works fine but this configuration will not work in the summer. You need that cool air blowing directly into your face when it gets really hot. Any ideas before I start contributing again to my mechanics retirement fund?
