belt adjustments, help!! 200 1992

The alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor pivot on
bolts so they can be adjusted. Loosen their pivot bolts, loosen
the clamping bolts on top, and turn the adjuster bolts to tighten
the belts. Retighten everything afterwards. Do not make the
belts too tight - you'll wear out the alternator, waterpump,
P/S pump, and compressor. If you press down hard, the belts should
deflect around 1/2" in the middle of their runs. Tighten
the A/C compressor belt before the P/S pump belt, because the A/C
compressor's position affects the tightness of the P/S pump belt.
