Thrust Bearing 200

88 245 w/ M47 tranny. My mechanic was telling me I need a thrust bearing. The tranny was making a rumble/noise while driving/accelerating, which went away when the clutch was depressed. Shifting and clutch functions do not seem to be affected.

1 Let me know if you understand or know what I am talking about.

2 What is the fix, how hard is it to do, and how much should I expect to pay for this repair.

Viva la 240, the simplicity rocks.
