Rear shock install on 95 940 wagon 900 1995

I installed new shocks last week on 95 940 wagon. Removed the wheel and the rubber plug in the wheel well. Bolts came out easily with impact gun. Upon reinstallation of right side, bottom bolt snugged up perfectly, top bolt did not. It threaded, but would not tighten. Started to rattle this week. Suspect stripped bolt or nut :(

Any advice or experience with this. I could not "see" the nut for top bolt as it is obscured by frame. Putting on rack Sunday for inspection.

thanks ahead of time.
