All belts are correct tightness ? If the starter is hanging up, I doubt that the noise would be slight. Could be several things going on up front. Have a friend start it while you listen.

The rear "dirty brake" sound may be a brake caliper that is hung up, and your listening to your brake pad being ever so slightly ground down.

My 89, 245 is about to see 241K, and other than general maintenance, no problems. The finest of all the Bricks I've owned.

Just some thoughts.
