Carb Linkage 120-130

I've got a weber carb, but I think this would apply to the stock dual carbs as well:
The rod that rotates has an arm (toward the firewall, that connects to the rod with 2 ball joints). The arm is positioned at just about 6 O'clock, so that rotating rod turns either direction.
The rod with 2 balljoints is adjusted to the maximum length, so I'm looking for a longer one. I think I want the arm to sit at about 4 or 5 O'clock.

Anyone have a similar problem, or solution?
I found some various rods here
http://www.piercemanifolds.com/linkage.htm
but I wanted to check with you guys as well.
Thanks much,
John Wade
