what the f are caliper slides? 700 1991

what are caliper slides?

which one of you told me that?? cause ive always changed my own brakes and ive never heard of that. i even asked a mechanic at kragen auto parts when i was buying a new air filter and pads, and HE didnt even know what that was. he looked at me like i was crazy. lol are you talking about the bushings?
cause on mine theres only two bushing for mountning them and there held by two bolts thats it. oh but i did find out that its only the left side that wears and the mechanic (the same guy i asked about the imaginary part) said that we should proubly just replace that caliper completly. i never thought of actually just tearing it out of there, it is old, and it is always just that left side.
i mean the other side wears at a pretty rapid pace but not as fast as that left side. (the right sides quickly catching up)

hey maybe you can give me a picture of theese "caliper slides"
not trying to be mean, really i wanna know what thoose are...
