F. Rotor Repl. (1 pc) Prob. Fitting inside bearings onto aftemarket (CTC) Rotor? 700

Hello,
After the saga a locating parts, freeing guide pins etc. I have begun to reassemble the front brakes (Girling) on my 87 745Ti. I have the 1 piece hub and rotor type. My problem is with replacing the race bearings on the inside portion. I popped them out of the old ones and the retaining ring the follows the bearing itself does not fit right. It seems the inside diameter of the back of the rotor is about 1/3 inch too large so that the ring does not snug up into it tightly. Has anyone else ever had this problem and is there a solution or can I just reassmble like this? This is the only rotor stocked for this make at the parts store, which was Canadian Tire and the mfg. of the rotor is Eurorotor.
All help gratefully accepted!!!!

Mike
