SR20 into 142 140-160

Hi,

thanks for the reply, yep the front sump will be the biggest obstacle by the looks of it so far.

The hydraulic clutch should be doable as all of the 240's over here were hydraulic clutch and I was planning on that swap anyway. No more stretched or snapped clutch cables.

I have taken measurements of the engine bay and it looks ok so far the biggest issues may be:

-front mounted sump, but this depends on how tall the nissan engine is.
-clearance with the steering box, although it is on the intake side of the SR, the SR's intake manifold hangs down fairly low

exhaust side should be fine as there isn't anything over that side of the '69 rhd engine bay, although I might move the battery to the boot to free up space for plumbing for the intercooler.

other than the steering box the steering gear should be clear of everything as I hope to have the engine as far back in the bay as possible (may even consider firewall mods) so that I can maintain/improve the handling.

Daz
