$40CDN worth of Redline MTL and no change 200

Yesterday I bit the bullet and drained my M-47 and refilled it with 2 litres of MTL, hoping to cure a bit of reluctance to go from neutral to first. I even jacked it up the drivers side so I could over-fill it. Net result: no change in the feel of the shifter at all. I'm a little disappointed.

Un-related, but another service item - I almost bought a Volvo air filter at the dealer, and as I was handing over my debit card I asked "how much?". $32 Canadian. That was a deal killer since I know I can get a Mann filter from FCP Groton for about $9 US. I went down the street to a specialty shop and bought a Bosch filter for $11 Cdn.
