Yet another 'Identify this suspension noise' question 700

88 744Ti

Hi,

I have a question and despite my search, I have not found an answer.
When I turn (usually left) and when I travel slowly I am hearing a noise that sounds like it is coming from my front right wheel well. It sounds like a light thump, how I imagine a wheel coming loose would sound, or the exhaust banging against something plastic. (Those are not the problems as far as I can tell).

It is irregular.

I tried the usual suspects; tightening the tire bolts, checking the sway bar bolts and bushings, the tower braces, and chasis brace. I jacked up the car to check and make sure the bearings were okay and while they are not perfect I am pretty sure that is not the problem.

The motor mounts are bad, but they have been that way for more than 1 year now. (I have replaced them 2 times and I quit doing it).

Any thoughts on possible things to check?

THANKS!
