Cam Shafts and such 140-160

Alright long story short, just got my car back from the shop cause I didn't want to pay them $700 to replace the fiber gear that they thought was messed up. Pulled the cover off and the fiber gear was in perfect condition. So I pulled it off and pulled out the cam since there was something messing with the timing and I found a bit of a tooth when I drained the oil. Either way I'm just wondering if I should just stick with a D grind cam for the 73 B20F or should I get a street cam from IPD or a cam from V-Perfomance. Suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
