Question on Overload springs 200 1990

Hi all,

I would like to upgrade the rear springs on my 240 to handle more load without sagging. Are the IPD ones my only choice? Can I install wagon springs and get the same result? I heard of people buying similar springs from local parts store for a lot less than what IPD is selling them for. What gives?

Next question is in regards to the panhard rod. Do I really need the adjustable one (IPD sells this too) if I install the overload springs? IPD recommends upgrading the rod to the adjustable kind.

TIA!

SM
