Finally licked bucking problem-Hip-hip-hooray !! 200 1982

Make a long story short, Car died on hwy ,towed home, could not fix, towed to repair center. Replaced Fuel pump, tank pump, accumulator & filter.Car still had bucking problem, brought back, could not find problem. 2 weeks ago I worked on it my self using IPD tools & parts, took out tank pump.Hose between tank pump & tube on sender had elongated end (They should have used a new one).Put in new hose. Drove car, a lot of problem seemed gone. Also found # 5 fuse to tank pump blown. Replaced that too(Has not blown since)."Gremlin" is gone except occasionally when shifting from 1st to 2nd but other wise car is "excorcised". Why these guys could not figure this out after car was taken back is beyond me.Its bad enough that I spent almost 1 K$ to have them fix it. I will have a word with these fellows in the future.
This is why I always try to fix it myself. Too many times I find that I could not possibly do any worse than any professional mechanic even though I never actualy worked in the field. Long live DIY's !!
