I bought this one in Boston.... Brookline, actually, from someone who read the BB and emailed me, "Wanna buy my car?" I took a look and said, "What the hell, it's only a small dent in the fender..."

The car is NOT perfect by a long shot, and still has a list of annoyances that need attention -- such as its tendency to stall in very cold weather (no, it's not the fuel pump relay). Even worse is the stereo with an intermittent channel.

Yes, Volvos *are* common around the Greater Boston region --- but also rusty.

"...scouting the boston to newport route..."

Rt. 24 if by land, the canal if by sea...
