Hi,

Hi, a while ago I put the post-'86 style seats in my 1980 242. No problem. As I remember, the only thing I had to do was to transfer the tilt/lock mechanism from the original 242 seats to the new seat backs. Also had to cut a hoe in the foam to accomodate the tilt release button. Everything is pretty obvious once you take the new seats apart and compare them to the originals.
