Full size spare? 200 1987

Just wondering if anyone out there has gone out and bought another steel wheel and kept a full size spare. I have a 1987 245 and I've always thought about doing this. My wagon has the plain 14" steel wheels with Yoko Avid Touring on them.

On another note, I found a green 1975 245 with manual transmission for sale just down the street from my house today, for $500, if anyone is interested in owning a truly vintage 200 series. It's a little rought but seems to run and looks mostly devoid of rust.
