. i wouldn't mind so much if the thing would stay broke, but its intermitant and may be warm up related....
sometimes when engaging 2nd or 3rd,(AFTER WARM UP COMPLETE, 5-10 MILES) i get a low level chatter, like driving over a washbord road. cycling the clutch or changing gears generally clears the problem for a while. my guess is that the clutch isn't fully engaging...

it may be coincidental or due to warm up bu eems when this happens, the over drive won't engage, (the light comes on).i had it on a lift and cleaned the connections for the o/d soloniod, but the problem reoccured. i'm thinking i may be able to jury rig two wires to the soloniod plug and run the wires inside and attach a volt/ohm meter and see if there is 12vdc present when the o/d problems occurs. i'm guessing its the 4th gear switch in the transmission, i just don't see how it could be intermittant.
