Painting wiper arms 900 1991

The wiper arms on my 91 940 sedan are looking decidedly downheel. The paint is peeling off them and they just look crap. What is involved in repainting them? What sort of paint do I need to use? I want a satin/original finish (not gloss). I'm not going for a "Rice burner" look, I just want it to look good. Is it "just" a case of sanding them back, clean them up, primer then top coat or is it more involved than that?
Any help would be appreciated.

Brad
