SERIOUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES...ALL AT ONCE 200 1986

Help....Here is a strange electrical problem...strange to me anyway. I just pulled into the gas station to fill up for the week. When I got back into the car and started it, I noticed the radio didn't come back on. Also, the central locking system went out. Also, the dash clock stopped working....and the dome light is not working ..but that's not the worst part of it. The damn "you left the key in and the door is open" chime will not shut up. It is chiming no matter what I do. It will stop if the key is removed, but otherwise, while I'm driving down the road, it chimes....I got home and found the 8 amp fuse that operates all the non-working items was blown. I put a new one in and it blew immediately. Where could this problem started at. How do I shut the chime up and how is that related to my blown fuse?????? Help me, because I have to drive for 50 minutes and by the time I get to work I'll be insane from the chime....

Thank you....if anyone can help me.
