Porkface- here was you suggestion-133 means the throttle position is out of adjustment, usually. open the throttle, does the sw. click? if not, clean the throttle body and adjust the sw. if so, push the button on the obd box twice, each time for a second. when it flashes rapidly, then open the throttle again. if the flash changes to 332, then check the connector at the sw, at the ignition brain pin 7 and fuel brain pin 2. all ok, clear the code and cross your fingers. when testing the throttle sw and the flash continues quickly, then turn the key off, unplug the sw and check the ohms between pin 18 and 2. the numbers are on the sw. throttle closed, 0 ohms, crack the throttle, 0 continuity. if this checks out, then clean the sw real good with brake clean and cross your fingers. if this sw clicks good and is clean, no oil or gunk from the throttle body, anf there's no connections problems anywhere, then it's probably time for a new sw.
Open throttle flashes 332
Connections on ign. brain and fuel brain are fine
Tested the throttle switch- closed=current flow between 18 and 2, throttle open= no current flow
Throttle is very clean
No change in car performance
Took car for a short ride after clearing codes, reads only 133
Any ideas on what to try next?
Again idles fine with AMM disconnected. Have to have your foot about half way down on gas to keep it running at start. After you get it started and running for about five seconds, you can let up on the gas. Starting reminds me of trying to start a car with a cracked dist. after running through a puddle or running on three cylinders. TIA
