Hesitation due to Chrysler ignition. 200 1983

My 83 with B23F has anoying to sever hesitation all the time. I've taken care of the fuel and now I'm down to the ignition. I know lots of other people have had problems with the chrysler ignitions. When I check my timing at idle the timing jumps from 8-12 or more degrees. The tach is reading all over the place some times and is usually off by 200 rpm while around 2000 rpm. When I accelerate from some speeds the tach doesn't even change when acceleraing more then 20mph. And if the tech is that far off then the computer is that far off too. The car drives like it should over 3000 rpm. Some one help, this car is driving me nuts.
