lowering springs 120-130

anyone install lowering springs?

how did you adjust the rear axle geometry? my mechanic says to get an adjustable panhard rod to pull ther rear axle back as once you lower the car the rod pushes the axle to the left causing the the wheels to be off center.

the mechanic says all cars are off center but with the offset on the 15" x 7" wheels I have, rubbing occurs on left hand turns, so instead of spending another $400 plus on new hweels etc, I will get a rod that is adjustable

any sources for lowering springs, prices? not too radical just an 1" or so?

thanks
robert
