Motor mount oddness... 140-160

Sadly enough, i didn't know about the HD mounts when i replaced my engine mounts about a year ago. So, i installed the regular ones, and now, looking in my engine compartment, the one on the car's right side(sitting in the car looking forward, the right mount) is compressed, at a slant, and has stress cracks. I will post a picture in a little bit. What do you guys think has caused this? Is it normal for it to wear out in like 8000 miles of pretty aggressive driving, two trips the drag strips for a total of 4 and a 1/8th runs.(when first gear gave up) It just seems that its life was a little shorter than it should have been. What do you guys think caused this? Anything? or just my driving... =D
Thanks!
Kyle

my car sits in the street outside my house, waiting for the RAIN TO STOP so i can look at the nice shiny metal tranny fluid... And yes it got here illegally, and yes it'll get back to its hibernating place illegally. =D Peace
