Hi all...yes its me again...same problem of slight hesitation at speed. When on the highway say at about 80kph or so in third or OD and the car is moving along quite well sometimes when the accelerator is pressed further to overcome a hill or pass the engine seems to hesitate and surge a little it feels like there is some sort of fuel restriction such that sometimes the engine gets plenty and likes to run other times it seems to starve a little...its like a rubber hose that has partially frozen and when you turn on the water sometimes it runs smooth but every now and then a chunk of crud pushes through and fouls up the smooth power every now and then. Sometimes when the car gears down, its an automatic, the lower gear seems to overcome the hesitation and other times it does not??? Wait...but thats not all!!! The car always starts and idles fine but sometimes there is just no power off of idle at all...to the point of barely wanting to drive down the road at all...it does not have enough power to back up the driveway when its performing like this...!!! :o( As you can understand the unpredictability of this car is frustrating the hell out of me and my wife...she ran it today and it was doing the no power thing...I got home and it ran great!!! Whats up here? Here is a list of what has been replaced recently: Pre pump and main fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, air box thermostat, replacement AMM after the original failed, replacement ECU after the original failed, fuel pump relay, coil, coil wire and plug wires, plugs, repaired small hole in tube from AMM to Throttle body, cleaned throttle body, adjusted timing, checked for vacuum leaks. All parts replaced are number matching to the originals. What would cause the car to run great sometimes and poorly other times?? Please help.
