Buying things on Ebay

I have bought many items from sellers on e-bay. More than 90 if I check my feedback.

I have only had one questionable experience and that involved the seller wanting excessive shipping. It was early in my e-bay career and I went ahead and paid for I feared bad feedback. Today I would take a stronger position, and I would give the seller two options; reasonable shipping or cancel the sale. I figure I can leave the seller bad feedback and it is more volitile for them than me. Lesson learned: If shipping is not shown, don't assume the seller isn't trying to pad his pockets with "extra" shipping $$$. Some sellers are up front about what they are doing. $0.99 for the $18.00 item and $20.00 for shipping 4 0z package. I think they do this to reduce the e-bay listing charges. Just check.
