#@%&! Rear brake rotors stuck! Your advice on removal is sought... 200 1987

Howdy from Texas,

I was so optimistic about how little time it would take to change the rear disc brake rotors on my 87 245. Then once I got the wheel, caliper and locating pin removed things came to a halt. The darn rotors are really stuck on the axle! Some light tapping with a hammer gave no results. Then I tried several applications of liquid wrench and more light tapping--still no results.

Anyone have any tried and true tricks, advice, or solutions to this problem? I have an idea for a puller tool that I can fabricate out of some steel pipe and some miscellaneous fasteners, but before I go to bed tonight I want to ask the fellow bricksters. Let me hear from ya.
