Pros/cons of flushing high mileage tranny 200 1990

Background:
My car has 233k. The AW-70 is original to the best of my knowledge. Tranny runs/works great with no issues.

It is time for a tranny fluid change. Previously I changed the fluid to synthetic ATF.

It has never received a flush since I have owned it. I know that most of you BB's are in favor of flushing. I have also read here that some of you think it isn't such a good idea.

I would like to get some opinions on both sides of the issue. What do you think gang? Should I do it or leave well enough alone and just change the fluid?

Thanks all,

Jim 90 244DL 233K
