Adding a trailer to my 1990 240DL - can it be done? 200 1990

Hey everyone-

My 1990 240DL (B230F) recently rolled over 106,000 miles, and still has plenty of power - so I recently got to thinking about adding a small trailer hitch with the idea of being able to pull barrels of grass clippings to the local dump in the summer (I have a big lawn).

Is this a feasible idea? Do I need anything extra concerning the transmission for cooling purposes? Can a 240DL even handle a trailer safely????

Anyone who has done this mod and can give me any tips, thanks in advance.
