Smoke Smoke Smoke 700 1987

Make sure the engine is not simply over-full on oil. We saw one of these, I think it was a 90 or so 740T, just had WAY too much oil in it, like 3 quarts too much!

At 2000 rpm POOOFFF the entire car would disappear in a white-gray haze. I mean it was ridiculous, it made a cloud you couldn't see through. The fire department came, the second time we drove it down the street- someone reported the smoke cloud!

It was kinda cool to find out a car could do that, but I'm glad it wasn't mine! Drained the oil to the right level, replaced plugs, and it was happy ever after...

Hope it's that simple! Good luck!
