740 Wagon - 'Honking' resonance at 950 rpm 700 1991

Yea i had the same result's, it wasnt until i actually took it off right after it rained did i find any water, then i went forth and took the ECY cover off to find water spots and residue all over the chip board, hence when it dried up everything went back to normall. and yes it is the wire from the door, since you found yours cracked i have found a nice and nifty way to seal the area, i took some High Temp silicone ( since thats what i had on hand ) and filled the boot holes on the inside, never leaked again, did the same on the drivers side, its still flexable enough to let the wires move around but will create a seal.
