Why NO piston slap in my 92 745T ?? 700 1992

My 745T has 195K now. The 91 940T has the about the same. The 91 has always had piston slap (since I got it, anyway). The 92 has none - & is one of the best running B230F motors I have had.

I was under the impression that the B230F did not get longer skirts on the pistons till 93-94. If that be true - why is my 92 doing so well in this area?

Mind you, I am not complaining - just curious.
