83 245 hesitation problem 200 1983

Hello,

I have some questions about a hesitation problem I have had in my 83 245. The main thing is that the car seems to lack power. When accelerating, there is a point when pushing the accelerator beyond which there is no increase in power, and sometimes even a decrease. I have replaced some parts, which have indeed helped, but not solved the problem completely. These include new dist. rotor/cap, plugs, wires, coil, and the fuel pressure regulator.

Any ideas? I have heard some things about replacing the hall effect sensor and the foil ground on the chrysler ignition that it has. Maybe that would do it? Any other ideas?

Thanks.
