Buying a used 940 900 1994

I am very close to buying a used 1994 940 brick. The mileage is 180,000 or 290,000kms. The car has been well maintained. I have also been offered 1994 940 turbo. This car has 30,000 less miles or less 50,000kms.

The FI brick seems a cleaner better maintained car but I am concerned about the high mileage.

The turbo is smoother but which is the more reliable engine turbo or non?

This will be a second vehicle. Safety and reliabilty and low operating costs are important. My wife will kill me if there is a lot of high priced repairs. I say they are reliable and that won't be the case.

Any advice based on experience with this model?

Thanks

Don (Canada)
