OD relay problems - 200

Hi Yall,

I recently had an OverDrive Relay problem, so I pulled it out and replaced it.

The problem I had was that the downshift gear light would not go off and the tranny would not go into OverDrive.

When I replaced the OD relay the problem went away...for about 3 hours...and then ~ voila ~ the problem was back and the new OD relay seems to now have the problem of the first.

What can be causing these OD relays to go bad?

Help appreciated in advance.
