Ignition problem 200

I am trying to repair a 1978 264 GL. My car died shortly after all the dash warning lights came on and I have not been able to start it since. I assumed that the ignition module attached to the back of the ignition switch was the cause, but I replaced this module and it made no difference. The iginition switch mechanism appears to be mechanically sound (key turns shaft to module). I was able to kill the engine lights by giggling the key once, but again the switch mechanism key-to-module seems to be sound.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
