Rear brake lockup 140-160 1973

Hi,

Maybe a coincidence....but I had the brake booster replaced last Thursday, because it had a minor vacuum leak. On Friday evening, we had to brake very hard. No problems, except that the rear brakes would not release after that, which was exciting in the middle of a 3 lane highway with large trucks wizzing past! I opened the brake line where it goes into the master cylinder to let out some pressure and the brakes released.

They seem to function normally, but I'm not going to trust them with a hard brake until I've done something about it.

Any suggestions about what to look for? I'm reluctant to give it back to the brake shop, although probably I should.

Regards

John
