Upholstery Button loose 200 1992

On my son's new 1992 244 GL, one of the buttons in the rear seat is turned on its side and is sticking up. It looks like there were two wires attached to the bottom of the button and one broke such that the other is pulling down the other side.

Has anyone any experience in fixing this problem without taking out the rear seat and putting in a new button? Any tips would be appreciated, none of my other Volvos have buttons.
